Yesterday, August 18, Russian invaders launched an airstrike on the city of Belopolye in the Sumy region.
One person died, three others, including a child, were injured, the State Emergency Service press service reported.
Civilian homes were also damaged and destroyed.
The State Emergency Service rescuers dismantled building structures and debris and freed the body of the deceased man, the department noted.
Emergency search operations have been completed.
The report of the Operational Command “North” reports that three explosions thundered in Belopolye, probably caused by strikes from guided aerial bombs, and explosions as a result of shelling, probably from 152 mm caliber barrel artillery.
13 private homes, five outbuildings, one summer kitchen, one car and one critical infrastructure facility were damaged.
