Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with 11 Shahed-type attack drones on the night of today, August 19.
The Commander of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk, reported this on his Telegram channel.
The launches of the “shahids” were carried out by:
- Kursk direction;
- Primorsko-Akhtarskaya (Krasnodar region of Russia).
As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, anti-aircraft missile units, aviation and air defense assets of the Air Force shot down all enemy UAVs in the Nikolaev, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Dnepropetrovsk, Kharkov, Sumy and Donetsk regions, the report says.
