The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on its Facebook page reported 145 military clashes in the past 24 hours, indicating an intensification of fighting in several directions.
The fiercest fighting took place in the direction of Pokrovsky, where the Ukrainian defenders repelled 45 enemy attacks, especially in the areas of Vozdvizhenka and Novogrodovka. The enemy is actively advancing in the direction of Toretsk, made 24 attacks.
Yesterday, Russian troops launched five attacks with eight missiles on the positions of Ukrainian units and populated areas, and also carried out 79 airstrikes, using 106 guided aerial bombs (UAB). In addition, the enemy carried out more than 4,600 artillery attacks, including 159 from multiple rocket launch systems.
The settlements most affected by the airstrikes were in Sumy, Kharkov, Donetsk, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
In response, the aviation and missile forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces launched 17 strikes against concentrations of enemy manpower and equipment. Important objects of the invaders were also hit, particularly the artillery system, air defense system, control posts and radar stations.
On the other side of the front, the situation remains tense. Battles took place in Kharkov, Kupyansky, Limansky, Kramatorsk and other directions, where Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled enemy attacks.
In the direction of Volyn and Polesie, no sign of the formation of offensive groups of the enemy was seen; on the border with Chernigov and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence and continues mortar and artillery attacks from Russian territory.
As we have already written, in the past 24 hours, 139 military clashes were recorded at the front, the “hottest” situation in the Pokrovsky direction.
