Russian dictator Vladimir Putin arrived in Azerbaijan on Sunday, August 18, for the first time since the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. This was reported by BBC Azerbaijan.

It is known that his visit will last from August 18 to 19.

The Kremlin reported that Putin will discuss the development of mutual and strategic cooperation between Azerbaijan and Russia.

According to the BBC, Putin will also discuss the Azerbaijani-Armenian peace process with the country’s President Ilham Aliyev.

It was previously reported that Azerbaijan plans to export gas through Ukraine instead of Russia.
