Ukrainian defenders advanced several more kilometers in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation, taking control of the settlement of Borki in the Sudzhensky district.

Russian military publics write that the Russian army has “organized a retreat” to the eastern bank of the Seim River near Tetkino.
Settlements have been evacuated, two bridges, near Tetkino and Popovo-Lezhachi, have been blown up as the enemy approaches. New prepared lines of defense have been occupied, publics write.
On the eastern bank of the Seim is, in particular, Tetkino. On the western bank is the border territory with Ukraine.
The Muscovites have not yet officially confirmed the retreat.

General Syrsky also reported on the strengthening of the positions of our forces in the Kursk region and the expansion of the stabilized territory, the president said.
As for the Toretsky and Pokrovsky directions, according to Zelensky, “the situation is under control.”
There are dozens of Russian assaults on our positions every day. But our soldiers and units are doing everything to destroy the occupier and repel the assaults, Zelensky said.
