The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the night of August 15 recorded several groups of attack drones sent by the enemy on the territory of Ukraine.
Explosion sounds were heard in Krivoy Rog. Suspilne Novyny reported this on Friday, August 16.
Before this, the military warned about the threat of using enemy drones.
Thus, the military reported that the UAVs moving in the direction of the Dnepropetrovsk region changed course towards Krivoy Rog. At 23.44 locals reported the sounds of explosions.
Residents are asked to stay in shelters.
Explosions were also heard in Kyiv. According to preliminary information, the air defense is operating in the capital. This was stated in the Telegram of the Mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klitschko, as well as on the channel of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
KOVA clarified that the drones were detected in the airspace of the Kyiv region, so the air defense forces are working against the enemy forces.
KOVA also called on people to stay in shelters and maintain informational silence, i.e. not to record or post online the work of defenders of Ukraine.
