In Lviv, employees of the regional police department provide security for Iryna Farion’s daughter, Sofia Semchyshyn.
As Elena Berezhnaya, a representative of the National Police of Ukraine, told Obshchestvenny, security is being provided as part of a criminal case in which the daughter of the deceased linguist is involved.
The measures are taken in accordance with the law “On ensuring the safety of persons participating in criminal proceedings.” Also, according to the press secretary of the National Police, the decision on enhanced security measures is made by the investigation. Security is provided by employees of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Lviv Oblast.
Semchishin previously said that Farion’s family and friends plan to continue the linguist’s work. Currently, there are plans to publish a book with the scientist’s quotes.
