The Russian checkpoint has been destroyed, there is total silence in the direction of Sudzha, dozens of units of equipment and a dangerous evacuation of civilians – UP showed how the border and borders in Sumy region look like in the second week of the raid of the Defense Forces in the Kursk region of Russia.
Journalists managed to visit two points on the border – the checkpoint in the direction of Sudzha, as well as in the vicinity of the village of Pokrovka, where just a few weeks ago the only functioning crossing between Ukraine and Russia – Pokrovka-Kolotilovka – was operating.
The situation at these two points on the border is very different. At the crossing towards Sudzha, where the Defense Forces have pushed the front line at least 10 kilometers into Russia, the situation seems too calm.
While in the vicinity of Pokrovka, the horizon is burning and FPV drones are flying.
