It will take at least ten days to clean up the entire territory of the Kiev region freed from invaders from explosive objects. This was announced on Saturday, April 2, by regional leader Alexei Kuleba.
“We all want to return home. However, the territories of the Kyiv region liberated from the occupiers are still dangerous,” said the head of the Regional State Administration.
Kuleba recalled that a two -day curfew was introduced in some areas in the region.
“A curfew will be introduced in all communities freed from occupiers from tomorrow, April 3, until 6:00 on Tuesday, April 5. This is done so that specialists can assess the volume of work, fix things. After that, the process of demining and updating the infrastructure will be able to have a planned character, ”he explains.
At the same time, the State Emergency Service showed how the Zhytomyr highway looks like near Kiev, where the fighting took place. Rescuers are conducting demolition work and clearing the route itself and its surroundings.
As reported, 643 explosive objects were found in liberated Irpen in one day.
