President Volodymyr Zelensky updated the number of settlements in the Kursk region controlled by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as a result of the operation on Russian territory.
In his evening address to the Ukrainians, he noted that he was in constant contact with Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky and had heard his reports on the front and the operation in the Kursk region.
Despite the difficult, intense battles, the advance of our forces in Kursk continues, the exchange fund for our state is replenished, says the president.
According to him, there are 74 settlements under Ukraine’s control, where checks and stabilization measures are being carried out. The development of humanitarian solutions for these territories continues.
In his report to the president, Syrsky said that in 24 hours the Ukrainian Armed Forces advanced in certain directions by 1 to 3 km, and took control over 40 square kilometers of Russian territory.
