Some of these ships are located in the waters of Tsemes Bay, said the Crimean Wind monitoring Telegram channel.
Russia’s Black Sea Fleet put about 25 ships to sea from the port of Novorossiysk, a massive departure of vessels since June, when many ships were moved to the Sea of Azov. The Crimean Wind monitoring Telegram channel reported this in connection with satellite imagery on Tuesday, August 13.
“On August 12 (low-resolution image) compared to August 9 (high-resolution image), it was noted that about 25 major surface combat ships left the Military Harbor. Some of these ships were in Tsemes waters Bay. Above this area at the time of the photo there were clouds, so an accurate number is complicated,” the report said.
Such a large-scale withdrawal of ships from the sea has not been observed since June, when the Russians moved a certain number of ships to the Sea of Azov.
