Ukraine experienced a massive drone attack last night.
On the night of August 13, the Russians attacked with two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region and launched 38 Shahed-type attack UAVs from the Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk regions of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force 13 on Telegram.
Combat operations against hostile targets continued in Mykolaiv, Vinnytsia, Sumy, Kirovohrad, Kherson, Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Cherkasy regions. Mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, aviation, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare systems of the Air Force worked. As a result of the anti-aircraft battle, 30 enemy UAVs were shot down.
Recall that on August 11, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that the Ukrainian military was recording all the places where ballistic missiles were launched. The head of state emphasized that “it would be fair if the launch sites of such missiles were destroyed.”
