Each of the missile attacks carried out by Russia deserves a fair response, the president emphasized.
Ukraine notes all the places where Russia launches missile strikes, and each of these strikes deserves a fair response. President Vladimir Zelensky said this in an evening video message on Sunday, August 11.
“It will be fair that the Ukrainians can respond to this fear exactly as necessary to stop it,” said the head of state.
Zelensky believes that Ukraine has the right to carry out long-term revenge on the missile launch sites from Russia and the corresponding destruction of Russian military logistics.
“Terrorism must always disappear – this is the main principle of protecting life,” the president stressed.
The head of state also said that talks with partners will continue to both strengthen air defense and remove restrictions on long-range strikes.
Zelensky also noted that last night the Ukrainian military shot down more than 50 suicide bombers. In addition, the Russians launched four ballistic missiles from the Voronezh region.
“We are recording all the places where the Russian army is launching strikes – as well as the Belgorod region, Kursk, and other places,” he said.
According to Zelensky, since the beginning of the summer of this year, the Russian army has carried out almost 2,000 strikes from the Kursk region of the Russian Federation to the territory of the Sumy region. In particular, from artillery, mortars and drones.
“We record every missile attack and every strike deserves a fair response,” the president concluded.
We remind you that tonight the Russians attacked Ukraine with four KN-23 ballistic missiles, as well as 57 Shahed-type attack UAVs, the air defense shot down 53 drones.
In Kyiv region, damage was recorded in three places; Due to falling debris, two people died and three others were injured.
