Among the prisoners were dozens of Kadyrov’s men caught deep in the rear. According to them, they tried to hide to avoid being caught.
Ukrainian soldiers from the 225th Separate Assault Brigade defeated the Chechen unit Akhmat. This was reported by the Ukrainian Deep State project on the evening of Sunday, August 11.
“The men took several steps that ensured the tactical success of the” operation,” the message said.
Meanwhile, the I Want to Live project published a video with dozens of prisoners. Some of them were asked where they were from, to which they replied that they were from Akhmat.
“The raid teams caught these Kadyrovites behind the border, according to them, they tried to flee in order not to be caught, because Ramzan Kadyrov said that Akhmat’s fighters did not surrender sitting behind, but in the Kursk region the situation developed dynamically, and these Akhmat fighters did not even try to fight,” said the message accompanying the video with the prisoners.
It was noted that Kadyrov’s PR and the desire to protect his guards from hostilities are dear to the Russians. After all, if they defended the border, and did not hide “behind the conscripts in the tenth line near Kursk,” such a quick victory was impossible. But, as a result, only ordinary 18-year-old conscripts and border guards went to the border.
“They also made the right decision not to join the battle and voluntarily surrendered, which saved their lives,” the channel reported.
We remind you that according to media reports, the Ukrainian Armed Forces advanced 30 km deep into Russia. Journalists also reported a steady stream of armored personnel carriers and tanks moving toward Russia.
According to AFP, thousands of Ukrainian troops are participating in a military operation in the Kursk region of Russia.
