The occupiers are actively using chemical weapons against the Defense Forces fighters.
In the southern regions, the enemy uses ammunition with toxic substances every day. Thus, out of 536 ammunition that the enemy dropped from copters on August 10, 11 contained toxic substances. This information is passed on to the Support Forces, which investigate each such case. Then international organizations will learn about this. This was stated by the press secretary of the operational-strategic group of forces “Tavria” Dmitry Likhovoy on the air of the telethon.
He also added that in the Tavria’s area of responsibility, the Russians’ use of drones has already equaled that of artillery in terms of the number of uses. The only difference is that a UAV can drop one shell, while artillery fires several at once.
Let us recall that earlier the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that the Russians continue to use ammunition containing dangerous chemical substances, which violates the “Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production, Stockpiling and Use of Chemical Weapons and on Their Destruction”, as well as the laws and customs of warfare.
