Russia has appealed to the UN High Commissioner to “condemn terrorism on the part of Ukraine” amid progress in the Kursk region.
This was reported by the Human Rights Commissioner of Russia, Tatyana Moskalkova.
According to her, “thousands” of civilians were injured as a result of the “barbaric attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on the Kursk region.”
I sent an appeal to the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights demanding that he condemn terrorism on the part of Ukraine and take measures to prevent gross mass violations of human rights. I hope that our information will also be reflected in the UN OHCHR report on human rights violations, which, as we have learned, is being prepared for release in September, writes Moskalkova.
Let us recall that it was Russia that violated the UN Charter with its barbaric invasion of internationally recognized Ukrainian territories, and also repeatedly demonstrated human rights violations during massive missile attacks, the treatment of prisoners of war, and the deportation of children.
Operation in Kursk region is a huge blow to Putin’s prestige
