The head of the Kyiv city military administration, Sergei Popko, has made public the details of the second night attack on Kyiv in August.

    .

This night began with the launch of ballistic missiles in the direction of Kyiv, Popko wrote in the KGVA Telegram channel. – As in the previous case, six days ago, the air targets (for example, Iskander-M or North Korean KN-23) did not reach the capital, the suburb took the brunt.

At that time, several dozen Shahed-type attack UAVs were already known to have been launched into Ukraine. About ten of them, after complex maneuvers, attempted to attack Kyiv. But all enemy attack drones were shot down in the airspace of the Ukrainian capital by air defense forces and means.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Emergency Situations Service reported that rescuers had pulled the bodies of a 35-year-old man and his four-year-old son from the rubble of a private home in the Brovarsky district near Kiev. Rocket debris fell on the house. Three more people, including a 13-year-old girl, were injured.
