In Romania, on the territory of Iasi county, on Wednesday, June 29, a train carrying Ukrainian grain derailed. This was reported by the local TV channel Pro TV.
It was noted that the train consists of 32 Ukrzaliznytsia cars weighing 733 tons. As a result of the accident, 11 wagons were derailed and overturned.
According to media reports, the train was heading to Kristest station from the Romanian port of Constanta, where it was loaded with grain from Ukraine.
Possible causes of the incident were the poor condition of the rail and problems with the wagons.
The Romanian Railways management did not comment on the accident, alternative routes for rail traffic were arranged.
