The politician’s plane was forced to land at a distance of 228 km from the airport he was going to.
US presidential candidate Donald Trump’s plane, which was on its way to a rally near Montana, changed its route due to technical problems and landed at another airport in the state. The Associated Press reported this on Friday, August 9.
According to airport workers, the plane landed safely.
Trump’s plane was headed to Bozeman, Montana, but was diverted to Billings, 228 kilometers east of its destination, said Jenny Mockel, an administrative assistant at Logan International Airport in Billings. Trump then continued to Bozeman on a private jet.
Trump’s campaign released a video after the landing. In it, he said he was glad to be in Montana, but did not mention the incident.
We remind you that on Friday there were two plane crashes in Latin America. The first was in Brazil, where a passenger airliner crashed with 61 people on board. The second plane crash occurred in Chile, where a plane carrying seven people crashed. In both cases, everyone died.
