In particular, the UN notes that:
- as a result of a large-scale coordinated attack by Russian armed forces across Ukraine on July 8 in Kyiv, Dnipro, Krivoy Rog and the Kyiv region, at least 43 civilians were killed, including five children, and 147 were injured, including seven children;
- Due to the shift of intensive offensive military operations by Russian armed forces from the northern part of the Kharkiv region to the Donetsk region, the number of civilian casualties in the Donetsk region in July increased to 269 civilians killed and wounded.
