On Friday, August 9, Russian troops shelled the city of Konstantinovka in Donetsk Oblast.
The enemy fired at the city from cannon artillery and hit a supermarket. This is another targeted strike on a crowded place, another act of terror by the Russians. The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Vadim Filashkin reported this on Telegram.
Preliminary information is available about at least two dead and 17 wounded. Police, rescuers, doctors and all responsible services are working at the scene of the Russian war crime. The authorities are establishing the final consequences of the shelling.
According to information from local Telegram channels and media, the EcoMarket, where many people are constantly located, was hit. A large fire broke out at the site. Footage of the aftermath of the strikes has already been published online.
Let us recall that on the night of August 9, the Russian army struck populated areas of the Kupyansk region. Rocket artillery shells fell in residential areas of the city of Kupyansk and nearby villages. At least three casualties are known to have been reported.
