Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky hinted at fighting in the Kursk region in his evening address to citizens.
The head of state reported that on August 8 he received three reports from Commander-in-Chief Alexander Syrsky.
According to him, these were “productive reports, exactly the kind that our state needs now.”
Zelensky said that “Ukrainians know how to achieve their goals.”
And it is not we who have chosen to achieve our goals in war. Russia brought war to our land and must feel what it has done. We strive to achieve our goals as quickly as possible in peacetime – in the conditions of a just peace. And this will happen, – the president said, but did not directly confirm that Ukrainian troops entered Russia.
