Ukrainian intelligence officers carried out a successful operation in the Black Sea, namely on the Tendriv Spit.
The operation was carried out on August 6 in the northern part of the Black Sea by special forces of the active operations unit “Artan” and the Maritime Center of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
At night, a special forces landing group landed on Tendrovskaya Spit and destroyed enemy armored vehicles, in particular, the MT-LB, the enemy’s electronic warfare system, and also destroyed Russian fortifications. During the battle, the Russian invaders suffered losses among their personnel.
Tendrovskaya Spit is a narrow island about 65 km long and up to 1.8 km wide. The spit is located in the northern part of the Black Sea, not far from the Ukrainian Crimea.
Having completed the assigned task, including its secret part, the military intelligence officers retreated without losses.
This is not the first successful active measure of the GUR special forces on the Russian-occupied Tendrovskaya Spit. The corresponding actions are only part of a large-scale plan of the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, the implementation of which is ongoing.
