The UK government has announced new anti-Russian measures that will hit Vladimir Putin’s inner circle.
The UK has imposed sanctions against a group of Russian businessmen, including the holding owner Interros and largest beneficiary Norilsk Nickel Vladimir Potanin. This was announced on June 29 by the United Kingdom government.
It was noted that Potanin continues to accumulate wealth by supporting the regime of (Russian President Vladimir) Putin. He got it Rosbank and take part in Tinkoff Bank after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
The sanctions include Anna Tsivileva, Putin’s cousin and president of Russia’s well -known coal mining company OAO Colmar Group, as well as his wife Sergei Tsivilev – the governor of the Kemerovo region of the Russian Federation.
In addition, the list includes the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC TUva Energy Industrial Corporation Ruslana Baysarov, businessmen Sait -Salam and Said Gutseriev, Croatian citizen Mihailo Perenchevach – President of the company Velesstroyoperating in the oil and gas sector of the Russian Federation), as well as the Moscow Industrial Bank.
Emphasizes that since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, the UK has imposed sanctions on more than 1,000 people and more than 120 businesses of the Russian Federation.
Anti-Russian measures include a ban on entry into the country and the freezing of assets if they are found.
It will be recalled that in May, Britain imposed sanctions on Alina Kabaeva, an Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics and the alleged mistress of the President of the Russian Federation.
