The Ministry of Reintegration said that a girl approached one of the public organizations with a request to return her mother and brother from HERE.
Two civilians who could not evacuate themselves were evacuated from the temporarily occupied part of the Lugansk region. The Ministry for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories announced this on Monday, August 5, on its Facebook page.
The department reported that a girl recently contacted one of the public organizations with a request to help evacuate her mother and brother from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region. They cannot leave alone.
The girl lives in the Kharkov region and has not seen her family for more than two years.
“Representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration in cooperation with the Ukrainian Network for Children’s Rights, NGO Pluriton and the volunteer organization Help to Leave joined the return of the family,” the message said.
The family is reunited and safe in Ukrainian government-controlled territory.
As is known, the Ukrainian authorities managed to identify almost 20 thousand children who were abducted by Russia. In reality, hundreds of thousands of children could be deported.
