The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security of Ukraine supported a bill prohibiting the mobilization of “limited fitness” people up to 25 years of age.
The document prohibits the mobilization of men aged 18 to 25, who had the status of limited fitness before the changes in the legislation. And those who fall into this category and who have already been mobilized, are allowed to be discharged into the reserve.
Now the project must be considered by the Verkhovna Rada.
People’s Deputy Oleksiy Goncharenko reported on his social networks that the Committee on National Security and Defense supported bill No. 11379-d.
He noted that the legislative initiative approved by the committee prohibits the mobilization of not only partially fit men aged 18 to 25, but also those who have not completed military service or who have not received military training while studying at a higher educational institution. That is, they did not study at the so-called “military department.”
The bill also provides for the right to dismissal for those who were taken away using this shameful norm, Goncharenko noted.
