Five brigades and regiments of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were awarded honorary titles on the occasion of the professional holiday and the restoration of the historical traditions of the national army.

The relevant decrees are posted on the website of the President of Ukraine.
Honorary titles were awarded to:
- The 208th Anti-Aircraft Missile Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force was given the honorary title “Kherson”;
- The 831st Tactical Aviation Brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force was given the honorary title “Mirgorodskaya”;
- The 14th anti-aircraft missile regiment of the Ukrainian Air Force was given the honorary title “Umansky”;
- 101st separate communications and radiotechnical support regiment of the Ukrainian Air Force – honorary title “Vinnytskyi”;
- The 57th separate communications and radiotechnical support regiment of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is an honorary title “named after Hetman Ivan Sulima”.
Today, on the first Sunday of August, Ukraine celebrates the Day of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
