Due to bad weather, more than 13 thousand consumers in Kyiv, Sumy, Chernihiv and Zaporozhye regions were cut off. The press service of the Ministry of Energy reported this on Sunday, August 4.
DONETSK REGION: As a result of enemy shelling in the past 24 hours, 10.9 thousand subscribers in 43 settlements were cut off. Energy workers have healed more than 10 thousand subscribers in 44 localities. In the morning, 145 installations were left without power, a total of 80.6 thousand subscribers.
ZAPORIZHIE REGION: Due to bad weather, 197 consumers in 3 settlements were cut off. As a result of the conflict, 3.7 thousand consumers in 51 settlements remain without power.
KIEV REGION: After a thunderstorm front passed through, 5.5 thousand subscribers in 42 settlements were cut off.
SUMY REGION: Due to bad weather conditions, 34 settlements – 2.5 thousand subscribers – remain without electricity. Power engineers restored 72 subscribers in 3 settlements that lost power as a result of the fighting. In total, more than 6 thousand subscribers in 102 communities remain without electricity supply, of which 3.5 thousand are due to the fighting.
KHARKIV REGION: In the morning, as a result of the conflict, 44.2 thousand consumers were without electricity supply.
KHERSON REGION: In total, 2866 subscribers remain without electricity supply in Kherson. Currently, in 48 communities of the region there are more than 26 thousand subscribers without electricity.
CHERNIGOV REGION: As a result of the fighting, 1.2 thousand consumers in 22 settlements remain without electricity. Due to bad weather, 4.8 thousand consumers in 17 settlements were cut off.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said that the situation in the energy system has improved, and the most difficult summer period is over.
Energy experts also predicted that July will be the most difficult period for the Ukrainian energy system. Currently, nuclear power plants are undergoing scheduled maintenance.
