The golden trio of the literary saga created by JK Rowling, “Harry Potter”, would be present in the story of the comic New Excalibur #3
Harry Potter is one of the greatest book series ever released and continues to attract countless fans every day. The world of the surviving wizard is so huge and complete that it is hard to imagine the union between its universe and a completely different one, but it has already happened: with Marvel!
The golden trio, Harry, Hermione and Ron have already made a special appearance in the comic “New Excalibur #3”, which shows an evil version of the X-Men group of heroes, written by Chris Claremont.
In the story, Juggernaut is running through London looking for the evil X-Men when he accidentally crushes a bus and some cars. While running into an alley, he ends up finding three children with the same characteristics as the wizards from J.K. Rowling.
When they come across Cain Marko, Hermione screams Harry’s name and grabs him, while Ron asks him what had just happened. Potter replies “I don’t know – but I’m glad he’s not after us”. A few chapters later, the mutants would touch on the subject of the three children again and end up discovering that, in reality, they were a trio of wizards.
With these references, it is clear that Harry Potter really does exist in Marvel’s Universe 616. All we can do now is wait and see what else might happen between the wizards of Hogwarts and the MCU.
