Israel “crossed a big red line” with Iran by killing the head of Hamas’s political wing, Ismail Haniyeh, in Tehran. This is what Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Ali Bagheri said in a telephone conversation with Pakistani Foreign Minister Muhammad Yitzhak Dar, Anadol reported on August 4.
Bagheri warned that the Iranian side would give a “decisive response” to Tel Aviv’s actions, noting that Haniyeh was in Tehran as a guest of the Iranian side.
He added that the scope of Israel’s attacks had expanded to include Yemen, Lebanon and Tehran.
The Iranian diplomat called on the countries of the Islamic world to “counter Israel’s escalation of its aggressive actions, which destabilize and undermine security in the region.”
Bagheri also suggested holding an emergency meeting of representatives of Muslim countries.
Let’s recall that the leaders of Iran and Hezbollah promised a response to Israel for the murders of Hezbollah military commander Fuad Shukra and Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh.
According to media reports, Iran may attack Israel on Monday, August 5. There is also information that this will happen on August 12-13 – the day of Jewish mourning.
