On the night of August 4, Russian troops again attacked the territory of Ukraine with missiles and UAVs. This was reported by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces Nikolai Oleshchuk on Telegram.
He noted that the enemy was hit by two S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles in the Kharkov region, two X-59 guided aircraft missiles from the airspace of the Kursk region – in the Poltava region, and five Shahed attack UAVs (area of launch of Primorsko. -Akhtarsk – Russian Federation).
“Using the forces and means of mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and electronic warfare units of the Air Force, five Shahed-131/136 UAVs were shot down in Kherson, Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd and Zaporozhye regions,” stressed the lieutenant general .
Earlier it was reported that on the night of August 3, a series of explosions was heard in Kharkov, and the air defense was operating in Mirgorod, Poltava region.
