Eight more children were returned from the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson region. This was announced by the head of OVA, Alexander Prokudin, on Telegram on Saturday, August 3.

According to him, five girls and three boys aged from 6 to 17 years old returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

They, along with their parents, are safe and receiving the necessary medical and psychological help.

Prokudin thanked the Save Ukraine charity organization for its efforts to save little Ukrainians.

He noted that as of 2024 alone, 162 children from the Kherson region have been returned to Ukrainian-controlled territory.

Let us remind you that the Ukrainian authorities managed to identify almost 20 thousand children kidnapped by Russia. In reality, hundreds of thousands of children could be deported.
