The defense forces of Ukraine launched a series of attacks on the territory of the aggressor country, Russia. Among the affected facilities is the Morozovsk military airfield in the Rostov region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Saturday, August 3.
“A hit was recorded in ammunition depots, where, in particular, guided aerial bombs were stored, information about the destruction of enemy air defense systems and aircraft was clarified,” the report said.
It is indicated that this work is carried out by the SBU and the Main Intelligence Directorate in cooperation with the Armed Forces.
Our military also attacked several Russian oil depots and fuel and lubricant storage facilities in Belgorod, Kursk and Rostov regions.
“There is information about the hit and subsequent fire of at least two tanks with petroleum products clarifying the more detailed results of the damage,” added the General Staff.
Earlier, a video appeared on social networks of a loud explosion at the Morozovsk airfield, which is the base of the 559th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense said that the air defense “shot down” 75 drones in seven regions of the Russian Federation and the Sea of Azov.
