Harris is pushing Trump to hold the debate he has scheduled against President Joe Biden for Sept. 10, to be hosted by ABC News.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump said he doubts the need to debate his rival and current Vice President Kamala Harris. He said this on Friday, August 2, on Fox Business Network, as quoted by Hill.
He explained that “Harris is better than President Joe Biden, but worse than himself” and noted that Biden’s team insisted on the debate in June, after which Democrats called on the president to withdraw his candidacy
“Now I’m saying, why should I have a debate? I’m leading in the polls. And everybody knows him and everybody knows me,” the Republican said.
Let’s remember that during the voting the Democrats elected their official candidate for the President of the US in the 2024 election. That candidate is Vice President Kamala Harris.
Harris raised twice as much money for his presidential campaign as Trump
