Budanov allowed the destruction of the Crimean Bridge before the end of the year

Ukrainian defenders have hit the Crimean Bridge several times, resulting in serious damage to it.

The Crimean Bridge may be destroyed in the near future, work is underway. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov, announced this on Friday, August 2, during a telethon.

“Everyone is working on long-term strikes and the destruction of the Kerch Bridge. It requires everyone, let’s say, a comprehensive solution is underway,” he said.

In response to a clarifying question about whether the Crimean Bridge could disappear in the next few months, the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate assured that “there are opportunities.”

Earlier, Budanov said that Russia has already defined the “maximum” and “minimum” tasks for 2024 – they have remained unchanged since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
