This vehicle, created on the chassis of Toyota Land Cruiser 70, received a specially designed armored capsule, providing a level of ballistic protection for personnel from small arms fire. There is also an option to install a machine gun on the turret. The Ministry of Defense reported this on Facebook on August 2.
It is noted that the “Dzhura” is a compact vehicle that has a relatively low weight and reinforced suspension, which facilitates its cross-country ability. The cruising range of the armored vehicle is more than 650 km.
The developers of the BBM claim that, depending on the purpose, the armored vehicles can be produced in various configurations of the armored cabin and luggage compartment. This vehicle is designed for reconnaissance and patrolling, performing logistics tasks, evacuating the wounded, etc.
Let us recall that in July, the Danish Ministry of Defense announced that the first 18 Ukrainian self-propelled artillery units 2S22 “Bogdana”, the production of which will be financed by the Danish government, will be delivered to the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the coming months.
