Enemy forces and air defense systems were operating in the region. Acting Governor of Kursk Region Alexey Smirnov reported on Telegram about the “repulsion” of the UAV attack.
Meanwhile, local publics wrote about the sounds of explosions in different areas of the regional center at night. It is claimed that the explosions were powerful.
Telegram channels also reported that drones had been shot down over Kursk. The network also published footage of explosions and flashes in the sky. Propaganda claimed that air targets had allegedly been shot down in the city and Kursk region.
Let us recall that the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that on July 31, units from the forces and assets of the Navy, in cooperation with other components of the Defense Forces, attacked a warehouse for storing weapons and military equipment near the Russian city of Kursk.
Defence Express speculated that the target may have been hit by a modified Neptune missile.
