Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are continuing the divorce process after a failed attempt at reconciliation. The Daily Mail reported this.
According to sources, the divorce papers are “complete but not yet submitted.”
The news comes after Affleck bought a new mansion in Pacific Palisades for $20.5 million on July 24, Lopez’s 55th birthday.
Friends of the singer said that buying a bachelor’s house on his birthday was a heart attack.
“They finalized the divorce papers a month ago but are waiting for the right time to file,” said a source close to the couple.
Then they plan to release a joint statement about how much they love each other and how they tried to save the relationship, but couldn’t.
It was previously reported that Jennifer Lopez’s mother, Guadalupe Rodriguez, is urging her daughter to leave Ben Affleck for fear of losing the singer herself.
