At night, the Russian military launched a missile strike on the territory of the Nikolaev region. This was announced by the head of OVA Vitaly Kim on Telegram on Thursday, August 1.
According to him, the Bashtansky district of the region was attacked. Moreover, the enemy hit it twice – after midnight and the day before.
“Yesterday, July 31, at 17:42 and today, August 1, at about 00:10, the enemy launched missile attacks on the territory of the region,” said the head of the OVA.
As a result of the Russian attacks, several dry grass fires broke out in the region, which were quickly extinguished by firefighters. No one was killed.
We remind you that last night an air raid alert was announced in some areas with access to the sea. Explosions rang out in the Nikolaev region.
On the night of July 31, Russian troops conducted one of the most powerful UAV strikes of the entire war. The enemy’s main target is Kyiv. In total, the Russian Federation launched 89 attack drones and one X-59 guided missile at Ukraine. They were all shot.
