The Netherlands, according to The Times, provided the first batch of six fighters to Kyiv. More to come soon from Denmark.
Ukraine received six American F-16 fighter jets from the Netherlands. The Times reported this on the evening of Wednesday, July 31.
The publication’s source noted that six aircraft have been delivered to Ukraine from the Netherlands, and several more will soon arrive from Denmark.
The publication recalled Dutch Defense Minister Kais Ollongren’s statement on July 1 that the first F-16 “will be delivered as soon as possible.”
Let’s remember that Ollongren then announced the completion of the permit for the export of 24 F-16 fighters to Ukraine.
Let’s recall that on Wednesday Bloomberg reported that the first batch of F-16 fighter jets from the Western allies arrived in Ukraine. Subsequently, The Telegraph added that Ukraine has not only received, but is already using Western fighters.
