Recently, the command of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced that the commander of the 80th brigade, Emil Ishkulov, whose dismissal was opposed by the soldiers, will be transferred to a higher post.

Ishkulov himself stated in a comment to Glavkom that this information is not true.
Well, how about the promotion?.. Now my deputy has taken over the position of brigade commander. Instead, I am going to take his position – deputy chief of intelligence, – said the ex-commander.
According to him, the top management set unrealistic tasks for the units, which caused discontent among the brigade. After some time, the DShV leadership told Ishkulov: “You probably need to rest.”
I have already spoken with the Commander-in-Chief. They will not return me to the position of brigade commander. I have already been removed, my successor has arrived, he has assumed the position and is already performing the duties. I see a positive moment in the fact that the Commander-in-Chief heard, contacted me, we talked. But still, we did not come to a common denominator, – he added.
Earlier, Rakurs wrote that the commander of the 80th airborne assault brigade, Emil Ishkulov, was fired for arguing with the command. He was against sending the soldiers undergoing recovery to a certain direction.
