Earlier, officials, at the initiative of the president to restrict gambling, turned to Apple and Google. And today they have already received the first decisions – fifty applications from online casinos have been blocked in the App Store. This was reported by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fyodorov on July 31 in Telegram.
Officials also set up a fast track with Apple for blocking. According to Fedorov, all applications that our team will identify and transfer will be blocked immediately.
If you have such cases, please let us know. To do this, write to the email [email protected] with the subject line “Casino Blocking,” the minister emphasized.
Fedorov added that negotiations with Google are ongoing.
Let us recall that in April, the Office of the Prosecutor General announced that cyber specialists, on the recommendation of law enforcement officers, blocked more than 2,500 websites that hosted gambling games or online casino resources without an appropriate license.
