As of this morning, due to fighting and other reasons, 514 communities in six regions have been completely or partially cut off from power.
As of Wednesday, no blackout schedules are forecast in Ukraine. However, during the night hours the load on the system is still high, Ukrenergo reported on Wednesday, July 31.
“The application of restrictive measures is not expected today Due to the colder weather, the decrease in consumption throughout the country continues, in the evening hours the maximum that was yesterday evening is still high in the same period on Monday, ” the report said.
The company noted that cooler nights reduce consumption in the morning. At 10:00 today, consumption is 2% lower than yesterday morning.
Energy workers ask citizens to shift the use of powerful electrical appliances to daytime hours – from 11:00 to 15:00. This is a period when there is more electricity in the energy system due to the active operation of solar power plants.
At the same time, due to the conflict and other factors, 514 settlements were completely or partially depopulated. Thus, due to the fighting, there was a power outage in the Dnepropetrovsk, Donetsk, Kharkov, and Kherson regions. Due to technical reasons, consumers in the regions of Dnepropetrovsk, Kirovograd and Chernihiv lost electricity.
We remind you that July 30 was the first day in a month when outage schedules were not predicted throughout the day, and today is the second day.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said that the situation in the energy system has improved, and the most difficult summer period is over.
