Repairs to damaged power facilities are ongoing. In this regard, Ukrenergo called on Ukrainians to reduce the load on the energy system. Ukrenergo Chairman Vladimir Kudrytsky announced this on Monday, July 29.
“We have a request for everyone – if possible, move energy consumption to the hours of the day, from 11 to 15. At this time there is the greatest solar activity and comfortable temperature for the operation of solar stations. And please get used to economical energy consumption, especially in the morning and evening. We will all need this in the fall and winter,” he emphasized.
Kudritsky also said that the energy system is now being prepared for winter. In particular, protection is built over objects. The head of Ukrenergo noted that recent drone attacks have proven that such protection works.
We remind you that in the regions of Ukraine there are no plans to limit electricity supplies on Tuesday. However, if the situation in the energy system changes, the application of measures to limit consumption will also be announced.
Earlier, Ukrenergo said that the situation in the energy system has improved, and the worst summer season is behind us.
