Soldiers from Special Operations Center A disabled the power substations of the aggressor country, which ensured the operation of the railway.
Ukrainian defenders attacked several electrical substations in the Kursk region that ensure the operation of the railway. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on its Telegram channel.
The operation was carried out by soldiers of the Special Operations Center A of the Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with other parts of the Defense Forces.
According to the General Staff, there is information about the operation of air defense systems in the Kursk region and explosions in the areas of at least four electrical substations.
“Electricity supply disruptions were recorded in the Ponirovsky, Kursk and Solntsevsky districts of the Kursk region,” the report said.
The General Staff emphasized that the Russian industry is working for the war against Ukraine, and is therefore a legitimate target. At the same time, the substations ensured the functioning of the railway where the invaders brought weapons and military equipment.
“Measures to weaken the military-economic potential of the enemy will continue until the occupiers stop their armed aggression against the Ukrainian people,” added the General Staff.
As we have already written, on the night of Sunday, July 28, explosions occurred and fires broke out in the Kursk region of Russia.
