The Ministry of Defense named the number of people who independently choose their specialty and military position.
In 2024, the recruiting centers recorded more than 10 thousand calls. The Press Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Dmitry Lazutkin spoke about this in an interview with NV.
According to him, currently more than 3.2 thousand people are registered in TCC or are studying in training centers.
“In general, more than 300 thousand resumes were processed on online platforms. In total, 17-18 thousand vacancies were posted from various units of the Defense Forces: these are the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine, and the Support Forces are now the largest employers in the country.”
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, the following vacancies are most in demand among recruits: mechanic, driver, doctor, intelligence officer, IT, clerk, cook, etc.
