In one of the districts of the Oryol region, a local power plant was damaged as a result of a drone attack.
On the night of July 29, an unidentified drone attacked a power plant in the Glazunovsky district of Russia’s Oryol region. The governor of the region, Andrei Klichkov, announced this on Telegram.
According to him, two enemy UAVs were shot down in the area, but one of them was able to damage the power plant.
No one was killed. Emergency services and law enforcement officers are working at the scene of the incident.
The Russian opposition publication Astra published an emotional video from Glazunovka in the south of the Oryol region – residents of the area filmed a drone flying above them and the subsequent explosion.

Russian Telegram channels also reported that in the village of Tomarovka, district of Yakovlevsky city, Belgorod region of the Russian Federation, drones attacked an electrical substation:
“The fire started at the substation in Tomarovka the electricity itself,” the message said.
We remind you that on the night of July 28, explosions occurred and fires broke out in the Kursk region of Russia. Before this, the threat of drones was reported in the region. Local residents wrote on social networks about breaking into an oil depot.
