Kyiv already contacted the campaign headquarters of Donald Trump and US Vice President Kamala Harris in July, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said in an interview with Japanese TV channel NHK.
The head of state noted that during a telephone conversation with Trump, he invited the Republican candidate to visit Ukraine, because if he “wants to learn something about Ukraine, he can come and see it himself or ask me.”
We have been in touch with his team. Mr. Trump told me that he is available for any questions and I have a phone number, the president added.
Zelensky also once again stated that the action plan for achieving peace in Ukraine will be ready by the end of November this year.
Recall that former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said that Trump’s peace plan provides Kyiv with permission to fire ATACMS and Storm Shadow missiles and other weapons at airfields in Russia. And after the war, some of the Ukrainian Armed Forces units will have to be deployed in European countries to replace 70,000 US troops.
