Zelensky said that “patience, support and diplomatic pressure are three factors for a just end to the war.”
President Vladimir Zelensky said that a peace plan will be ready in November, which will be preceded by a series of negotiations with various countries on the territorial integrity of our state. The head of state announced this in an interview with NHK TV channel.
“Patience, support and diplomatic pressure are three factors for a just end to the war,” Zelensky said.
He added that if the US and European countries remain united, this is a manifestation of additional pressure.
The head of state also stressed that he cannot respond positively to calls for a ceasefire while the Russian Federation keeps part of Ukrainian territory under occupation. Kyiv is currently starting detailed discussions with third countries about Ukraine’s territorial integrity to develop a road map for achieving peace.
“I have entrusted this task to the Office of the President and diplomatic teams. The plan will be ready by the end of November,” announced the president.
The Ukrainian president also noted the importance of Tokyo’s support for Kyiv.
Remember that in June Zelensky said that in a few months Ukraine, together with its partners, will develop an action plan based on the results of the peace summit in Switzerland, which will pressure Russia into peace.
Zelensky previously said the second peace summit would take place in months, not years.
