The tactics of the occupiers changed with the arrival of the new commander of the Russian Navy.

The invaders are relying on submarines instead of surface ships. Enemy submarines are harder to find and destroy. The number of cases of using the aviation component has also increased, the tactics of shelling from the territory of Crimea and the use of the Iskander operational-tactical complex have changed. This was stated by the press secretary of the Ukrainian Navy Dmitry Pletenchuk on the air of the telethon.

They don’t have much choice. We see certain changes with the arrival of the new commander, who was introduced by the now former head of the Russian Defense Ministry, Sergei Shoigu. Yes, they have been looking for this tactic for some time, – noted the representative of the Ukrainian fleet.

Pletenchuk also added that in the Azov-Black Sea region there is only one location left for Russian ships to stay – the Novorossiysk seaport. And even from this base, enemy ships rarely leave and only for short-term actions.

Let us recall that on July 28, the Ukrainian Navy reported that this morning there was one enemy ship in the Black Sea, which was a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to four missiles. There are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
